§ 58. Brigadier Raynerasked the First Lord of the Admiralty when the review on the training of naval officers is likely to be completed and when the report on it is likely to be made available, particularly in so far as it affects the future of the Royal Naval College at Dartmouth
§ Mr. J. P. L. ThomasMy hon. and gallant Friend will appreciate that any fundamental review of the training of naval officers must take some time. While I am unable to say when the task will be completed, I can assure the House that the need to decide the future of the Britannia Royal Naval College at the earliest possible moment is fully understood by all concerned.
§ Brigadier RaynerHas my right hon. Friend heard that the Navy is in danger of losing some first-class instructors from the Royal Naval College now, and will he do his very best to hurry up the Report?
§ Mr. ThomasCertainly I will do my very best to hurry up that section of the Report which refers to the Britannia Royal Naval College.
