HC Deb 14 December 1953 vol 522 cc27-8
43. Mr. George Craddock

asked the Minister of Food if he will extend to all old age pensioners the facilities of the welfare milk scheme to enable them to purchase milk at 1½d. per pint

Major Lloyd George

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave the hon. Member for Southampton, Itchen (Mr. Morley) on 2nd December.

Mr. Craddock

Can the right hon. and gallant Gentleman tell me what was in that reply?

Major Lloyd George

I said that …we could not add to the groups receiving cheap or free milk."—[OFFICIAL REPORT, 2nd December, 1953; Vol. 521, c. 1152.]
