HC Deb 09 December 1953 vol 521 cc1975-6

The following Question stood upon the Order Paper:

104. Mr. G. Jeger

To ask the Assistant Postmaster-General when Mr. F. Berriman, of Fairburn, near Leeds, the secretary of the West Riding Cricket League Umpires Association, may expect to have the telephone which he was told was allocated to him in September, 1952.

At the end of Questions

Mr. Jeger

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker. May I ask your guidance with regard to Question 104? I handed in this Question last week and it was placed upon the Order Paper last Wednesday. On Friday of last week my constituent was visited and a telephone was installed. Could the Assistant Postmaster-General be asked to explain this strange coincidence?

Mr. Speaker

Not now.
