§ 35. Mr. Wyattasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will now make a statement on the discussions with the French Government with regard to British association with the European Defence Community.
§ Mr. NuttingHer Majesty's Government have made certain proposals to the six Governments concerned for British association with the political institutions of the European Defence Community. These will be discussed shortly in the Interim Commission of the European Defence Community. I can make no statement until these discussions have taken place.
