Brigadier ClarkeDoes my right hon. and gallant Friend appreciate the difficulty of having all the Coronation tea parties in the same week? The parties are held street by street, and the same tables, chairs, cups and saucers are used at each. Would he please spread these concessions out over the month?
§ Major Lloyd GeorgeMy hon. and gallant Friend will appreciate that a great many of the foods involved at these parties are still rationed and, therefore, if one extended the period it would not be reasonable to a great majority of the people who do not have these concessions.
