HC Deb 27 October 1952 vol 505 c1642
Sir D. Maxwell Fyfe

I beg to move, in page 9, line 24, at the end to insert: not being a passport issued by the passport authorities of the United Kingdom or any colony. This Amendment arises out of the Amendment put down in Committee by the hon. Member for Islington, East (Mr. E. Fletcher) and which I accepted subject to drafting. The effect is that a person holding a United Kingdom or colonial passport cannot be accepted as a member of a civilian component.

Amendment agreed to.
