HC Deb 23 October 1952 vol 505 cc1239-40
27. Mr. Pearson

asked the Minister of Health whether, having regard to the heavy waiting list in the Pontypridd and Rhondda area and the disproportionate maintenance cost involved in the present limited occupation, he will consider facilitating to the utmost of his power the completion of the scheme for the adaptation of the Tonteg Hospital, near Pontypridd, for the treatment of tuberculosis.

Mr. Iain Macleod

I hope it will be possible to commence the final stage of this particular scheme early next year.
