asked the Minister of Health if he has considered payment of interest on amounts due to chemists in respect of prescriptions under the National Health Act where such amounts have been outstanding for more than three months.

No, Sir. Such a payment would not be justified. The payments on account which are made each month are designed to put chemists in broadly the same position as if final settlement were up to date.
