asked the Prime Minister if he will make a statement on British participation in the European Council for Atomic Research.

I have nothing to add to the Written answer given to the right hon. Gentleman the Member for Vauxhall (Mr. G. R. Strauss) on Tuesday, 21st October.

Mr. Peart

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the decision not to participate seems strange—it may be the right policy—in view of the flamboyant speeches the Prime Minister himself made on European unity?
