HC Deb 22 October 1952 vol 505 c979

Standing Order 62, line 110, at end, add— (2) The Examiner shall give not less than two clear days' notice in the Private Bill Office of the day on which any such bill will be examined.

Standing Order 63, line 63, at end, add— (2) The Examiner shall give not less than two clear days' notice in the Private Bill Office of the day on which any such bill will be examined.

Standing Order 75, line 38, after first "bill," insert "a bill referred to the Examiners after second reading."

Standing Order 206, line 4, leave out from "bill," to "shall," in line 6.

Standing Order 220, line 56, at end, insert— () The Examiner shall give not less than two clear days' notice in the Private Bill Office of the day on which the bill will be examined.

There is little substance in these Amendments. It is really bringing Standing Orders into line with the present practice. I can give an explanation if it is required, but I do not think it is necessary.

Question put, and agreed to.
