§ 23. Mr. Errollasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he expects to receive the Report of the No. 2 Tucker Committee on Taxation and Pensions.
§ Mr. R. A. ButlerI am not at present able to add anything to the answer given to my hon. Friend's Question on this subject on 29th July.
§ Mr. ErrollCould the Chancellor perhaps hurry up the presentation of this Report, so that the recommendations made in it may still be in time to find their way into the Finance Bill of 1953?
§ Mr. ButlerI do not give any undertaking as to what is to be in the Finance Bill next year, but I am in favour of receiving this Report as soon as it is convenient.
