HC Deb 18 November 1952 vol 507 cc1574-5
41. Colonel Gomme-Duncan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what progress has been made with the repair of flood damage to the Loch Quoich and Loch Garry hydro-electric works; and whether any further damage has occurred.

Mr. J. Stuart

I am informed by the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board that work on the repair of the damage done to the contractors' temporary structures at Loch Quoich is still in progress, but that further high flows have hampered operations. At Loch Garry no repairs were necessary because other arrangements were made and no further damage has occurred.
