§ 31. Mrs. Mannasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what tests are now required to ensure a pure milk supply; and if he is satisfied that the present tests and classifications make milk safe for infants and children.
Commander GalbraithThe information desired would involve a rather long and complicated reply. It is given in the Schedules to the Milk (Special Designations) (Scotland) Order, 1951, and I am sending the hon. Member a copy. I am satisfied that the requirements of this Order with regard to the various designations of milk are sufficient to ensure a safe milk supply for infants and children.
