9. Wing Commander Bullus

asked the Minister of Supply when the Air Noise Suppression Committee of his Department last met; and how many meetings have been held in the last two years.

Five meetings have been held, the last on 12th September. Between meetings a delegation from the Committee has paid over 20 visits to firms, universities and aerodromes.

Is my right hon. Friend satisfied that the proceedings of this Committee are invested with a sense of urgency, and is any progress being made as a result of its deliberations?
