HC Deb 14 May 1952 vol 500 c1422
30. Sir Edward Keeling

asked the Minister of Food whether, in view of the improvement in the last six weeks in the production of pork, he will increase the proportion of meat in sausages.

Major Lloyd George

There is still an unsatisfied demand for pork for the ration and for other manufacturing purposes, but I will keep in mind my hon. Friend's suggestion.

Sir E. Keeling

Will my right hon. and gallant Friend go a little further and say that it is his firm intention to introduce a good, succulent pre-war sausage containing at least 75 per cent. pork?

Major Lloyd George

Certainly.
