Mr. Nabarroasked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he will issue a statement in convenient form reporting the activities of the Fuel Efficiency Division of his Department during the period of 12 months ended 30th April, 1952; what extension of their activities took place compared with earlier years; what is the staff and cost, including all overheads, of the Fuel Efficiency Division; what new ideas it is bringing forward for inducing greater industrial fuel efficiency; and to what extent steps are being taken to secure broadcasting and television facilities for fuel efficiency propaganda.
§ Mr. Geoffrey LloydI will certainly take any suitable opportunity of making a statement, but I do not think the matter calls for a White Paper.
