asked the Secretary for Overseas Trade, as representing the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, how much magnesium electron metal was imported into the United Kingdom last year; and what were the sources of supply.

Imports of virgin magnesium metal during 1951 for consumption in the U.K. were 2,275 tons. All this came from Canada except 19 and 38 tons from Norway and Japan respectively.
