§ 26. Mrs. E. M. Braddockasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he has considered the resolution sent to him by the Liverpool Colonial Office Welfare Committee; and if he will postpone closing the Liverpool office until he has had a talk to the deputation requested.
§ Mr. LytteltonMy noble Friend the Under-Secretary for the Colonies will discuss the resolution of the Liverpool Advisory Committee when he meets their deputation tomorrow afternoon.
§ Mrs. BraddockWhile I thank the right hon. Gentleman for making those arrangements, may I ask him to bear in mind that the very many organisations which have used this service are of the opinion that the cost of closing the office will very much exceed the amount which it is suggested should be saved?
§ Mr. LytteltonAny suggestions which emanate from the hon. Lady will receive most careful consideration.
