§ Sir W. MoncktonLabour supply inspectors have power to enter and inspect undertakings and to require the persons carrying on the undertaking to produce books, accounts and records, and to furnish information, relating to the use of labour in the undertaking.
They are authorised at present to use this power only when the undertaking has asked for more labour to be supplied. Their function is to advise whether the additional labour needs to be supplied.
