§ Miss HorsbrughClose contact with U.N.E.S.C.O. is maintained by my Department on behalf of the Government. The arrangements for the representation of the United Kingdom on committees and conferences vary with the circumstances, but United Kingdom members are usually appointed by the Minister or after consultation with the Minister.
