§ Miss HorsbrughNo, Sir. Meat meals are not provided every day, and it would not be practicable to provide special meals on days when meat is served.
§ Mr. FreemanIs the right hon. Lady aware that great dissatisfaction is caused because some children are forced to have these meat meals when neither they nor their parents want them? Is she further aware that if meatless meals can be provided she will save meat for those who want it?
§ Miss HorsbrughI do not think it is possible to differentiate. I have had investigations made and I find that there is less waste in meat than in anything else.
