Mr. Baker Whiteasked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he is aware that tanker freights for oil are to be lowered from 185s. to 100s. per ton in the near future, a reduction equivalent to 4½d. per gallon carried; and whether, in view of this fact, he will ensure, in approving petrol price changes, that this reduction is passed on to the consumer in cheaper petrol.
