§ Major Lloyd GeorgeMost of the staff who have gone were engaged on two things. One was the overhaul of the byelaws for local authorities. Those have now been accepted by 1,260 out of 1,440 local authorities, so that that work is now unnecessary. Also most, if not all, of the preparatory work in connection with the food and drugs legislation has been completed.
