asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will take such action as may be possible to keep industry fully informed of current research and development, in order to maintain the traditional high standards of British workmanship and materials, particularly for manufactures intended for export.

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given to the hon. Member for Newton (Mr. Lee) on 1st July on this subject. I would only add that the Board of Trade Journal, as part of its service to exporters, regularly draws attention to publications which are thought likely to be of value to industry.
