§ 6. Mr. Hayasked the Attorney-General why there is currently a delay of at least a week before the Associate's certificate of trial of an action in the Queen's Bench Division can be obtained; and if he will expedite the issue of such certificates.
§ The Attorney-GeneralThe delay, which at present amounts to about five or six days, is caused by the delay in typing the certificates. Steps have been taken to expedite the procedure. I should be glad if my hon. Friend would let me know of any recent instances of delay so that I may have them investigated.
