§ The Minister of Labour (Sir Walter Monckton)The strike continues but a 1804 number of men have returned to work. At Croydon approximately half the workers returned this morning. The strike is unofficial and the unions concerned are continuing their efforts to secure a resumption of normal working. I understand that officials of the unions are meeting representatives of the firm today.
