§ 20. Mr. Harold Daviesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what instructions were given to the British Chargé d'Affaires in Indonesia with regard to expounding the British Government's viewpoint to the Indonesian Government relating to the Egyptian and Sudanese dispute.
§ Mr. EdenOn instructions of His Majesty's Government, His Majesty's Chargé d'Affaires in Djakarta has on several occasions expounded to the Indonesian Government His Majesty's Government's attitude in the dispute with Egypt about Middle East defence and the Sudan. He has made such representations particularly in connection with the accrediting of diplomatic representatives.
