§ 36. Mr. H. Hyndasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what action has been taken in connection with the Hartwell Report about Kenya.
§ Mr. LytteltonThe Hartwell Committee was one of a number of committees which presented reports on various aspects of educational policy in Kenya. A general review of policy followed in which these reports were considered as a whole and not separately. The decisions which have since been taken have incorporated some of the measures recommended in the Hartwell Report.
§ Mr. HyndWill the right hon. Gentleman give the House an opportunity to discuss this report at an early date?
§ Mr. LytteltonIf the hon. Gentleman put down that question a little later on I might be able to give him a satisfactory answer. I have not yet received any definite information from the Kenya Government.
