§ 43. Mr. John MacLeodasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he is now prepared to make a grant towards the proposed extension of Ullapool Pier, application for which was made in 1949.
§ Mr. SnaddenA revised and much more costly scheme was submitted to the Scottish Home Department last November and is now being considered.
§ Mr. MacLeodDoes my hon. Friend realise that the facilities there are totally inadequate and that it is in the national interest that they should be increased immediately?
§ Mr. SnaddenI do realise that, but this is getting very serious consideration at the present time.
