asked the Minister of Labour if he will reconsider his decision to close the employment exchange at Llanberis, Caernarvonshire.

Mr. Watkinson

This office has not been closed. It is now open three days a week and I am assured that the new arrangement affords adequate facilities in the present circumstances.

Mr. Roberts

While thanking the Parliamentary Secretary for that reply, so far as it goes, may I ask him if he will consult with the North Wales Slate Quarrymen's Union about this matter? I think it would be useful.

Mr. Watkinson

I will certainly look into that point if the hon. Member will send me details.
