asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how many golf courses there are in Cornwall; and what is their total acreage.

I am told that the answer is 18, covering 1,656 acres.

Mr. Hayman

Will the Minister see that there is no further alienation of good agricultural land for golf courses?

Mr. Macmillan

If I observe a dangerous increase in golf courses, I shall call the attention of the Minister of Agriculture to it.
