§ 49. Sir R. Glynasked the Prime Minister if it is intended to make a comprehensive statement concerning the operations of the Commonwealth Division in Korea as was the custom by the Minister of Defence of the last Government at regular intervals.
§ The Prime MinisterI do not feel it necessary to make periodical statements during the present phase. Should the armistice negotiations break down and major operations be resumed, such statements would no doubt be necessary.
