HC Deb 19 November 1951 vol 494 c25
Mr. Speaker

Mr. Hector Hughes—No. 52.

Mr. Hector Hughes

With respect, Mr. Speaker, mine is not the next Question.

Mr. Speaker

I am told that the Questions addressed to the Prime Minister are postponed.

Mr. F. J. Bellenger

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker. May I ask whether your remark about Questions Nos. 46 to 51 to the Prime Minister means that they are postponed for today or only until the end of Questions?

Mr. Speaker

I understand that they are postponed until tomorrow. That is what I was told.

The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (Mr. Anthony Eden)

Perhaps I may be allowed to explain. I think the House knows why the Prime Minister is not here. [HON. MEMBERS: "No."] He is at Guildhall with the Leader of the Opposition and others for the welcome home to Princess Elizabeth. Hon. Members were good enough to agree, in these circumstances, to postpone the Questions.
