Miss WardIs the Minister aware that, having regard to the fact that civil servants had their arrangements completed some two years ago, teachers are extremely disappointed? Would not action help to encourage recruitment of teachers? Will the right hon. Gentleman please move in this matter?
§ Mr. TomlinsonThe positions of the civil servant and of the teacher are on a different footing because one is subject to the Superannuation Acts and a different method applies to the other.
