Mr. Fortasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is prepared temporarily to exempt imported sulphuric-acid from paying a 10 per cent. ad valorem duty in order to reduce the price to the British consumer and facilitate the transport of imported sulphuric acid from the ports to the consumer.
