asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he will institute an inquiry into the circumstances which led to the death of 2503875 A.C.2 Raymond Lewis at the Royal Air Force Station at Weeton, Lancashire, on 13th February, particulars of which have been sent to him.

A formal inquiry was held on 25th February, at Weeton into the circumstances surrounding the sad death of Aircraftman Raymond Lewis on 11th February. I propose, with the hon. Member's permission, to circulate a statement in the OFFICIAL REPORT, embodying the evidence and findings.
