HC Deb 20 March 1951 vol 485 cc2277-8
17. Mr. Fitzroy Maclean

asked the Minister of Local Government and Planning whether he will agree to the use of the premises in Regent Street, Lancaster, lately vacated by the district nurses, as a home for the elderly people of the Lancaster area, under the provision of the Ministers of Health and National Insurance as set out in the National Assistance Act, 1947.

Mr. Dalton

As an appeal by the Lancashire County Council against a decision by the Lancaster City Council is now before me, the hon. Member will appreciate that I cannot comment on it at this stage.
