HC Deb 26 June 1951 vol 489 c1174
37. Mr. Black

asked the Minister of Local Government and Planning whether he has yet reached a conclusion regarding the suggestions contained in the memorandum issued by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and entitled" Defects of the Town and Country Planning Act and the Remedies"; and what action he proposes to take.

Mr. Dalton

Apart from those suggestions on which I have already taken administrative action, legislation would be required. But this is not immediately practicable.
