asked the Minister of Food whether, in view of the increase in the price of the basic ingredients used by the bakery trade, he will abolish price control on flour confectionery.

asked the Minister of Food if he will now reconsider the ceiling prices of flour confectionery, in view of the increases in the cost of ingredients.

Mr. F. Willey

My right hon. Friend has reviewed the present maximum prices in the light of the increased costs of production and has decided to allow certain increases. Details will be announced shortly.

Would the Minister consider the tastes of schoolboys in deciding how these increases should be allotted?
