§ The Secretary of State for the Colonies (Mr. James Griffiths)The question of sales of gold at premium prices is at present under discussion in the International Monetary Fund. In the meantime, any such sales in or from colonial territories would be undesirable since they could conflict with the Fund's gold policy, to which His Majesty's Government have subscribed.
§ Mr. ErrollCan the Minister take steps to speed up those discussions so that we can get the advantage of selling gold, or at least some of it, at higher prices?
