Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 21st June should not in themselves have any substantial effect upon the reconstruction programme at Coventry, but its rate of progress is generally affected by the large amount of work of all kinds already in hand.
§ Mr. EdelmanWill not my right hon. Friend agree that industrial areas like Coventry which have a particular responsibility for the defence programme should not thereby be penalised in their ordinary building programme?
