asked the Secretary of State for War whether it is intended to call up Territorial units for an additional period of training during 1951.

§ Mr. Strachey
No, Sir.

Air Commodore Harvey
Will the Minister say whether he is quite certain, in giving that answer, that it will not be necessary to call up the Territorial Army for additional training this summer?

§ Mr. Strachey
It is not proposed to lengthen the period of Territorial camps from 15 days—the usual period.

Mr. Vane
Is it intended to call up officers on the Territorial Army Reserve?

§ Mr. Strachey
I cannot make any statement on that subject today.
