29. Mr. Hurd

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies the total amount of advances made to the Colonial Development Corporation for the purposes of the poultry farm in the Gambia.

32. Sir Waldron Smithers

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how many eggs have been imported from Gambia under the scheme started two years ago; and what is the cost of that scheme to date.

40. Mr. Gammans

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if, in view of the failure of the supplies of eggs and dressed poultry from the Gambia poultry scheme, he proposes to send out a commission of inquiry or to call for any special report from the Colonial Development Corporation.

41. Mr. Keeling

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies, in view of the disappointing output from the Gambia egg project, how far he intends to modify or abandon the scheme.
