asked the Lord President of the Council whether it is proposed to announce the decision the Government has reached with regard to the recommendations of the Beveridge Committee on broadcasting and television; and whether legislation in this connection may be expected.

When the Lord President comes to a decision will he bear in mind that the B.B.C. is already riddled with Communism?

Will the right hon. Gentleman consider the desirability of having a debate in this House before he reaches a final conclusion?

All these things have been raised before. As to who is riddled with what I would like to hazard a guess about the hon. Member for Orpington (Sir W. Smithers) one day.
