§ Mr. RichardsWith your permission, Mr. Speaker, I have a short Petition that I should like to present to the House. Although it is short, it has been derived from a village which has one of the longest sounding names of all the names in Wales. It comes from Rhosllanerchrugog yn Nyffryn Maelor.
The Petition has been confined to signatures entirely of the mothers of that parish. They are very much upset because quite recently, in the drill hall there, drinking has been introduced, particularly on Sunday. Their Prayer is that that should be stopped. It is a short Petition and it does not require a great many officers of the House to take it up to the Table. I may add, for the benefit of the Clerks at the Table, that the Petition has been drawn up in Welsh and in English.
