§ Sir W. Wakefieldasked the Prime Minister whether, before reimposing any controls used during the war, he will respond to the appeal of the President and Director of the National Union of Manufacturers by announcing that organised industry will be consulted as to the form and implementation of any particular control before it is imposed.
§ The Prime MinisterIt will be the general aim of His Majesty's Government to consult organised industry on the form and implementation of individual controls before they are imposed wherever it is deemed practicable to do so. It will fall to the responsible Minister to decide the time, manner and extent of the consultation.
