§ 29. Mr. Peter Smithersasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will cause the Jamaica Government to publish in future years a fuller Forest Department Annual Report than that for the year 1948–49.
§ The Minister of State for Colonial Affairs (Mr. John Dugdale)The decision in this matter rests with the Government of Jamaica. The Report follows the lines generally used by colonial Governments for this purpose and gives all the information required for an assessment of the year's work. If the hon. Member will let me know the points on which he wants further information, I will see whether it can be got.
