§ 46. Mr. George Thomasasked the Prime Minister whether he will issue a directive that the building of air-raid shelters shall not be conducted at the expense of house building.
§ The Prime MinisterI would refer my hon. Friend to the statement which was made by my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary on 9th November. I do not at present foresee any interference with the housing programme as a result of the building of air raid shelters.
