§ 13. Sir Jocelyn Lucasasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will pay forthwith the agreed sum due in a case of war damage, of which he has been given the particulars in view of the urgent need and the long delay in payment.
§ Mr. P. ThorneycroftThe claimants to whom I understand my hon. Friend refers, made no application for early payment until 19th November this year. Any delay that has occurred since then is due to the failure of the applicants to supply the information asked for. This information has since been obtained, and I have given instructions that the claim should be paid with accrued interest.
