§ 34. Mr. Pagetasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty how many submarines it is intended to transfer to the French Navy.
§ Mr. CallaghanHis Majesty's Government have agreed to lend four submarines to the French Navy for a period of four years. They are the Statesman, Satyr, Spiteful and Sportsman. They are now being refitted in this country under Admiralty supervision and at the expense of the French Government, and will be transferred on the satisfactory completion of refits and trials.
